HEALING KEEPS YOU TRAPPED IN THE IDENTITY OF “BROKEN”
Why your pursuit of healing might actually be keeping you stuck
HEALING KEEPS YOU TRAPPED IN THE IDENTITY OF “BROKEN”
We live in a world obsessed with healing. From self-help books to spiritual retreats, we are taught that the goal is to constantly work on ourselves, to find the root cause of every trigger, and to endlessly "fix" our inner wounds.
But what if that obsession with healing is what’s keeping you stuck?
What if constantly focusing on what hurts is reinforcing the belief that you're still broken?
The Healing Loop: When Growth Becomes a Cage
Healing, at its core, is powerful. It brings awareness. It helps us feel. It gives us tools to shift our patterns.
But if you're not careful, healing can also become an identity.
You begin to define yourself by your trauma. Your story becomes your anchor. Your worth becomes tied to how much you've overcome.
And without realizing it, you stay in a loop: Always healing. Never healed.
Because if you're always healing, then you're always broken.
The Self-Help Trap
We consume content. We journal. We meditate. We shadow work ourselves to exhaustion.
But deep down, the reason none of it ever feels like "enough" is because the foundation is off.
You're not trying to become whole. You're trying to stop feeling broken.
That's a different energy entirely.
You Were Never Broken. You Were Programmed to Believe You Were.
From a young age, we are told that we need to be better. Be quieter. Be more polite. Be less emotional. Be more logical. Be less needy. Be more productive.
This programming conditions us to believe that who we are at our core isn’t enough. So we grow up searching for ways to heal the parts of us that were never broken in the first place.
But healing isn’t the goal.
REMEMBERING is.
Your Identity Is Not Your Pain
You are not your anxiety. You are not your trauma. You are not your past.
These may have shaped you, but they do not define you.
You are the one who witnessed it all. The one who felt it, survived it, and still chose to grow.
But your growth doesn't require constant fixing. It requires reconnection.
The Real Shift
The next level of healing is not healing more. It’s releasing the identity that says you need to.
It’s remembering who you were before the pain. Before the labels. Before the programs told you what you had to overcome to be worthy.
Because the truth is: you already are.
Your Wholeness Is Already Within You
This isn’t about bypassing real pain. It’s about refusing to be defined by it.
You are whole. You are worthy. You are ready.
You don’t need more healing. You need to remember.
What you think and feel... you make real.
Welcome to your next chapter.
