Let’s get real — you’ve probably heard of the Law of Attraction. Vision boards, affirmations, the whole “ask, believe, receive” thing. But if no one ever told you about the Law of Vibration, they left out the part that actually makes it all work.

Here’s the deal: everything is energy. You. Me. That weird twinge of stress in your stomach. The vibe in your friend’s house that either lifts you up or drains your soul. It’s all energy — and it’s all vibrating.

The Law of Vibration is like the hidden gear behind your entire life experience. It says that everything vibrates at a certain frequency — thoughts, emotions, people, places, even your goals. And the only way to bring something into your reality is to match its frequency. Not by forcing it, but by becoming the version of you who already has it.

Your Vibe Isn’t Just a Mood—It’s a Frequency

Your vibrational frequency is the energetic signature you send out into the world. But here’s what most people miss: it’s not set in stone.

Unlike inanimate objects (money, rocks, your car), we humans can actually shift our vibration. Our emotions, thoughts, and beliefs affect our frequency every single day.

Think about the last time you walked into a room and felt something was off—without anyone saying a word. The heaviness that tells you something is not quite right, or the light-hearted feeling that just makes you feel good? That wasn’t your imagination. You were feeling the vibration of the space, which was shaped by the energy of the people in it.

When we’re in a state of fear, doubt, anger, or self-pity, our vibration drops. And we start attracting people, situations, and outcomes that reflect that same low frequency. But when we’re aligned with joy, confidence, gratitude, or purpose—we level up our frequency, and suddenly, everything shifts.

Why Your Words (Especially to Yourself) Are Energy

The way you talk to yourself is the first place to look if you want to raise your vibration.

Are your inner thoughts tearing you down? Or building you up?

Try this: Go to the mirror. Seriously, get in your mirror,  Look yourself dead in the eye and say:

  • “I am safe, strong, and guided.”

  • “I am more powerful than my fear.”

  • “I am worthy of peace and prosperity.”

It might feel weird at first. That’s okay. Keep doing it. You’re not lying—you’re remembering. That version of you already exists. You’re just syncing up with it. 

Then before you know it, the way you are talking to yourself is the way you actually feel about yourself. That’s when your vibration changes. It changes to line up with the way you see and feel about yourself now. This also has an affect on your subconscious mind. It sends new signals to your subconscious telling it that things have changed, which in turn causes your subconscious mind to begin creating your reality to line up with how you see and feel about yourself now.

 Like I’ve said before, your subconscious mind does not judge or wonder, it just creates based on previous experiences and what signals you are sending to it. 

Stop Reacting. Start Rewriting.

Emotions are powerful messengers. But if you’re always reacting to life from a place of old pain or outdated beliefs, your vibration stays stuck.

That’s where a “My Trigger, My Response” journal can seriously change the game. Start tracking your emotional responses. What issue, circumstance, or situation happened to cause you to react the way you did?  What triggered your reaction? What memory or story did it bring up? How did you react—and how would you have responded if you were showing up as the you that lives your desired reality?

Over time, you’ll start to notice patterns. You will begin to see what your subconscious mind is bringing into your reality and where it comes from.  You can begin to make changes to respond differently in the situations when they arise in your life. You can begin to create new subconscious beliefs to change your reality. As my favorite quote from Albert Einstein states,

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results”

You can’t expect the desires of your heart to manifest if you continue to do and react the same way as you always have. 

Start with small steps or actions, slow down and think before you react to an issue or circumstance that comes up in your life. Then change how you would normally react. This is how you go from reacting to responding. It’s how you go from the same reality as you’ve always had to creating the reality you’ve always desired.

Raise Your Frequency, Raise Your Reality

Changing your vibration isn’t about pretending to be happy when you’re not. It’s about alignment. About choosing thoughts and actions that feel good because they reflect who you’re becoming—or who you already are, underneath the noise.

Some quick ways to shift your vibe:

  • Move your body

  • Get in your mirror

  • Be kind to someone

  • Meditate

  • Listen to upbeat music

  • Laugh (yes, even if you fake it at first)

Choose to live as if you have whatever it is you are wanting already in your life. Embody the version of yourself that already has your desire.

How Vibration Ties Into Manifestation

Here’s where it gets really juicy. The Law of Attraction only works when it’s backed by the Law of Vibration.

You can affirm all day long that you want more money, love, or peace—but if your frequency is constantly screaming “I don’t have it,” the Universe is just going to echo that frequency back to you.

To attract what you want, you have to become a match for it. That means showing up as the person who already has the thing. Thinking like them. Feeling like them. Acting like them.

It’s not faking it. It’s embodying your future self. Calling your power back.

I know it sounds crazy and you’re probably thinking, “How am I supposed to do that?”

Take time to visualize yourself at the place in your life that you already have your desire. Really experience yourself at that time, in that place having the desire of your heart in your reality. 

Feel the feelings and emotions of having what you want most in your life.  Notice the clothes you have on, where you are, the people around you, the atmosphere, what time it is and what day it is. Every single small detail.

Now bring that back into your reality now. Feel those feelings, allow those emotions to radiate throughout your life. Go back to that visual in your mind whenever you need to. Become that person in the now to create that person in your reality.

Don’t let other people or circumstances, or even your own thoughts change your conviction. It’s only human to have doubts when you are acting like you have something you can’t see just yet. Don’t beat yourself up, and don’t give in to those doubts. Acknowledge them, then put them away. Say to yourself,

“I am not acting, I am embodying my future self. It is mine and nothing can or will change that.” 

Then leave it be. Go on embodying the wish fulfilled in your life. Before you know it you will have it.

Final Thoughts

You’re not stuck. You’re just vibrating on a loop that can be rewritten.

This work isn’t always easy—but it’s always worth it. Because the truth is, your vibration is your reality. Shift one, and the other follows.

So ask yourself:

  • Who am I when I have my desire?

  • What am I willing to release to meet that version of me?

  • Since it is already mine, what do I do with it? How do I handle it?

  • What changes should be made to make this reality?
